Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to provide high-quality care and support to clients in their homes or care facilities. The Caregiver will assist with daily living activities, ensure client safety and well-being, and help foster a supportive and respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Provide mobility support, including help with walking and transferring
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed

Qualifications:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aide to provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes. The HHA will assist with activities of daily living, promote client independence, and follow a care plan developed by healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers, including use of assistive devices
  • Monitor vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and respiration (if trained)
  • Provide basic healthcare-related tasks under the supervision of a nurse
  • Prepare and serve meals based on dietary needs
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, changing linens, and cleaning living areas
  • Assist with medication reminders (not administration unless certified)
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Observe and report any changes in the client’s physical or mental condition to the nurse or supervisor
  • Document care and services provided according to agency standards

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program
  • Current HHA certification (as required by state)
